Governor Ahmed Aliyu of Sokoto State has declared Friday September 8th 2023 as a public holiday for the state’s civil servants to celebrate the first 100 days of his administration.
Aliyu made the declaration at a special prayer session organised by the state government as part of activities lined up for the governor’s 100-day in office in Sokoto.
The governor said the day was a remarkable one which would remain historic in the victory and growth of democracy in the state.
