Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has declared Monday October 31st 2022, the eve of All Saints’ Day, as a special non-working holiday.
Marcos signed the proclamation on the holiday to give the public more time with their families, and to boost local tourism, said Cheloy Garafil, Office of the Press Secretary’s officer-in-charge.
The next day, November 1st, is All Saints Day, when most Filipinos usually visit their dead. Traditionally, it is also a special non-working day.
