Public Holiday in Namibia in 2024
Namibians will decide who will lead the country for the next five years on November27th 2024.
President Nangolo Mbumba has declared election day a public holiday.
“Under the powers vested in me by section 1(3) of the Public Holidays Act, 1990, I declare Wednesday, November 27th 2024, as a public holiday for the purposes of the general elections for the election of the president and members of National Assembly under the Electoral Act, 2014,” the gazette reads.
Polls are set to open at 07h00 and close at 21h00.
