According to the resolution of the Government of Georgia, May 7th, 8th and 10th 2024, have been declared public holidays.
This is because Monday May 6th is Orthodox Easter Monday, and Thursday May 9th is the Day of Victory over Fascism.
The document states that the administrative body can determine which services and employees are excluded from the decree’s holidays.
According to the information of the government administration, the resolution does not apply to the financial obligations to be fulfilled before the persons under the supervision of the National Bank of Georgia, as well as to the activities related to state procurements and the activities of the State Procurement Disputes Review Board.
The Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, has already signed the decision.
