City Day in 2025

The Greater Amman Municipality has announced that Sunday, March 2nd 2025, will be a public holiday for its employees in celebration of City Day.

The decision excludes employees whose work requires them to be present during this period. City deputies will take necessary actions to ensure the smooth continuation of work within their respective areas of responsibility.

This decision is made in recognition of the efforts of municipality staff and to celebrate this occasion.

The occasion falls on March 2 each year and offers an opportunity to remember the history of the city, anticipate its future, and keep pace with its continuous development through service projects.

Amman is the capital and the largest city of Jordan, and the country's economic, political, and cultural center.
