The Himanta Biswa Sarma-led government in Assam has announced a two-day special public holiday for the state government to spend “quality time” with family. The holidays will be on Thursday January 6th and Friday January 7th 2022.
In a tweet, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma shared a video message for the state government employees with a vision for ‘New India’ and ‘New Assam’. The state government employees will get two-day special holiday for January 6th and January 7th to “spend quality time with their parents or in-laws”.
“I urge Assam Govt employees to spend quality time with their parents/in-laws on Jan 6 and 7, 2022 designated as spl holidays. I request them to rededicate themselves to the cause of building a New Assam and New India with blessings of their parents,” Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted.
